Calvin Harris has felt the wrath of Lady Gaga after he claimed to have turned down working with her.
The 'Sweet Nothing' hitmaker recently gave an interview to BBC Breakfast in which he revealed he was approached to work with Gaga but turned down the opportunity as he was too busy and he didn't feel the songs were worth working together on.
"You got to pick people whose songs or voice that you like," Calvin said.
"And in that stage, it was before she was very big. But they sent me some songs and I didn’t really like the songs."
It seems either Calvin was telling porkies or Gaga didn't appreciate the snub because the 'Born This Way' singer hit back on Twitter blasting the DJ for his comments.
"Seems to be trendy lately to talk shit about "lady gaga" when your albums/singles drop. Y'all should live off your own hustle. #Ido," Gaga tweeted.
"Music is mortal if it has no integrity behind it. I'm interested in making the immortal kind."
"never even emailed you @calvinharris I guess it's hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I'm a woman I don't know about EDM right?" she continued.
Not accepting Gaga's backlash without a fight, Calvin replied: "@ladygaga no your label emailed me. I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn't the intention."
Oh dear! Whose side do you believe?
