Fans may finally get to see what really happened between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj's American Idol spat as the rapper was reportedly filming her reality show at the time.
The 'Pound The Alarm' rapper has filmed a three-part special for E!, titled Nicki Minaj: my Truth, which will feature the early days of her stint on American Idol as she also juggles preparing for her 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' tour.
Last month, Nicki and her co-judge Mariah dominated headlines when footage surfaced of the pair engaged in a bitter argument in which the Young Money rapper blasted the singer for acting like a diva.
According to Perez Hilton, the cameras followed Nicki for 21 days and may have caught the fallout from her spat with the Grammy-winning singer.
It is thought the ladies are getting on a little better and are keeping their distance from one another, but this hasn't stopped Mariah's husband Nick Cannon from staying loyal to his wife because he reportedly refused to play Nicki's music at a party recently.
According to People.com, Nick acted like he didn't hear the request from the fan who asked to hear one of the rapper's songs.
"Clearly he was supporting his wife during her feud," the insider said.
Nicki's reality show will start airing on November 4.
