Looks like James Bond is a big favourite with the royal family as after starring in a skit with the Queen for the London Olympic Opening Ceremony, Kate Middleton and Prince William stopped by the cinema to watch the latest instalment of the Spy franchise 'Skyfall'.
The couple were spotted at a screening of the 23rd James Bond movie, starring Daniel Craig, last week in Llandudno, North Wales, near their home on Angelsey. According to watchers the future King and Queen appeared pretty relaxed on their date, dressed casually with limited security.
A source told Us Weekly: "They came in by themselves,"
"They didn't have protection with them, or if they did, he or she was very hidden."
The couple reportedly stocked up on snacks, soft drinks and a big box of salted popcorn before heading to the screening. It's not the first time the couple have enjoyed a trip to the cinema, they were also spotted at a screening of comedy 'Bridesmaids' in 2011.
The source added: "They were smiling and seemed in good moods,"
"It was just a simple weekend date night for them. It's nice to see they do such normal things."
We wonder if the couple were hoping for another cameo from William's grandmother, the Queen following her Bond themed arrival at the London Olympic Games where she appeared to parachute with Daniel Craig into the stadium?
Speaking at the time, William admitted he had no idea the monarch had even made the video until they saw it on the night.
"We were kept completely in the dark about it," he told the BBC.
The prince then joked his Grandmother would make a great Bond girl. "But now, as she did such a good performance, she's been asked to star in the next Bond film - I'm thrilled for her."
While Prince Harry added: "Both of us were slightly surprised with our grandmother's secret hobby - parachuting. It went down unbelievably well."
The Princes are known to be Bond fans and even attended the Royal Premiere of the 22nd film 'Quantum of Solace'.
