Kim Kardashian's marriage may have ended after 72-days but it appears that her divorce from estranged husband Kris Humphries is taking much longer following the reports that the star has become "too busy" to continue with the divorce proceedings.

Whilst Kim may have well and truly moved on as she is now in a relationship with rapper Kanye West, an insider has claimed to HollywoodLife that the star still needs to end her marriage legally.

Suggesting that Kim and her mum Kris Jenner are "too busy", the insider said:

"Unfortunately for Kim, there has been no movement with regard to her divorce. Everything has just been stalled because Kim and Kris [Jenner] are too busy with their hectic lifestyles to deal with this whole mess.”

“They have been postponing the inevitable, which is to let Kris have his way and say the marriage was fraudulent. I think Kris [Jenner] is just hoping that if they stall long enough, Kris will just accept a settlement outside of the courts."

Since finding love with Kanye, Kim hasn't been shy on talking about her love for the rapper. Talking to Tatler magazine recently, Kim said:

"It’s so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you’re going through. Being with someone I’ve known for so many years is comforting.

"He’s been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a different thing entirely. It’s good to be aware that he definitely doesn’t want anything from me too, because he understands the business.

"I can’t even think about being with anyone else than the man I’m with."

A rep for Kim has been contacted for a response.
