Just when you thought the controversy from Rihanna's recent '777' tour couldn't get any worse, eyewitnesses claim that events turned violent with fans getting slammed into walls and punched as the waited for the songstress to arrive on stage, according to a new report.
The 'Diamonds' singer's tour, which was organised to promote her new album Unapologetic, was reportedly thrown into chaos almost as soon as it started with fans growing increasingly angry with RiRi's repeated lateness and journalists fuming with her absence on the tour plane.
However, fresh reports from The Sun claim that fans were subjected to violence at Rihanna's show in Paris as they awaited her arrival, including being punched in the face.
"In Paris, one fan was punched and another slammed against the wall as RiRi was off drinking Dom Perignon," the newspaper reports after jokingly dubbing the tour '666'.
"In Berlin, half the fans missed the show, preferring to remain in the holding area of a converted power station, where we had to wait for nine hours."
"Mid air on the way to London, there was a full-on riot in economy. As Aussie DJ Tim Dormer streaked round the cabin, hacks chanted: “Just one quote” and “We’ve got weed” to entice her out of her bed," the reporter added.
Following endless reports of dramatic chaos, riots and fury, Rihanna eventually crawled out of her hole in 1st class to apologise to fans for her absence.
According to UsMagazine.com, she addressed the crowd at the back of their private plane saying: "Guess what, we made it! This has been an experience that I will never ever forget. I barely slept.
“My sleeping was all done on this plane, I want to thank everyone for making this trip the sh**. I want to see the naked Australian!”
Sounds like it was an eventful week for some!
