The recent, far from amicable break-up of Rita Ora and Rob Kardashian is just one of the moments when we see the stars telling us more than we needed to know. Rob took to Twitter after the breakup and posted some not-so-cryptic tweets that he has since claimed were not about his ex.
The posts, that have since been deleted, referred to this mystery ex being with "more than 20 dudes" and that he in fact impregnated his then girlfriend.
Though his lengthy twitter rant was deleted, it was live for around half an hour, plenty of time in this day and age to go viral.
The couple before the ugly split (Wenn)
While he claims never to have mentioned "Rita Ora", the reality TV star still talked about allegedly impregnating his girlfriend, on Twitter! You'd think he'd have learnt from the mistakes of many a celeb before him who has over-shared on the social network. Pretty weird for a couple, who never confirmed they were dating. Meanwhile, Rita has maintained a diginified silence - but she did give an interview to Glamour magazine, where she claimed they split because she "was never there".
A celebrity who's had plenty of awkward Twitter moments is pop princess Miley Cyrus who allegedly angered boyfriend Liam Hemsworth when she used the micro-blogging site to talk about their relationship.
"Ever feel like you want just ... something more. Not sure what exactly ... passion perhaps?" Since then she has continued to use the site to talk about her private life.
When will she learn?
Another star, notorious for providing us with too much information is Chris Brown. Putting aside his most recent Twitter rampage against comedianne Jenny Johnson, in October he shared a video with the world using the site in which he 'opened up' about his love triangle between ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran and Rihanna.

In the video he asks if it's possible to love two people at once, saying “I'm stressed out....when you share history with somebody,” he explains, “and then you tend to fall in love with someone else...”
Ok Chris, not sure we asked...
It's not just Twitter to blame for these celebrity overshares, sometimes even when they have time to prepare they chose to tell us more than they probably should.
Kristen Stewart did this not long ago, dealing with the fall out of her infamous snog session with married director Rupert Sanders, she made a public apology, finally confirming her relationship with Robert Pattinson, but went way too far with her decleration of love.
She said in a statement through People magazine: “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
We get it, you don't have to say it twice Kris!
Last on the list of stars, who really should have kept it to themselves, is Jennifer Garner. Not often in the headlines, Jen found herself there in September after a seriously strange interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres about her husband Ben Affleck she described him as "a wonder sperm kind of guy."
