She's been a busy bee trying to flog her flop party planning book 'Celebrate' overseas to the Dutch, but last night Pippa Middleton had a night off for herself, getting all dolled up to hit the Chelsea town.
The 29-year-old nearly-royal looked gorgeous as she made her way to the Vicomte A. VIP dinner held at the Brompton Club last night in a classy bejewelled black dress.
Pippa, who is allowed to wear slightly shorter hemlines than her royal sister the Duchess of Cambridge, showed off her slender pins in the party number as she took a festive spin on the outfit with a pop of green.

The socialite looked all Christmassy as she teamed the glitzy black dress with a sparkly green tweed jacket cut in a Chanel style along with matching green suede heels featuring gems on the heel and clutch bag of the same make.
Adding a pair of black opaque tights so that she didn't feel the bitter London chill, Pippa looked gorgeous in her Christmas party outfit, simply adding a pair of drop earrings and keeping her shiny brunette tresses in its usual sleek style.

Pippa has been faced with excoriating comments on her party planning book, defending it recently in The Spectator.
She said: "I have been much teased for my book . . . But in my defence, let me say this: 'Celebrate' is meant to be a guide to party planning, and, as such, it has to cover the basics.''
''If I were to write a cookery book, for instance, I would be compelled to say that, to make an omelette, you have to break at least one egg,'' she continued.
