He may have lost out on the X Factor 2012 crown to James Arthur but runner up Jahmene Douglas has still managed to land himself a job just one week after the final- recording an advert for his old employers Asda!
Jahmene used to be a shelf staker in the supermarket before finding fame on the X Factor but he's returned to his roots to record a special online ad for the chain.
The festive commercial sees Jahmene singing a version of Christmas classic 'Silent Night' which he sees as the perfect way to say thank you to his former employers for all their support throughout the X Factor:
"It was an amazing feeling to record my first song in the studio that wasn't for the show. I feel blessed to have had this opportunity and can't wait to see what the future holds," Jahmene says to Heat.
Whilst the heady heights of Asda might be good enough for Jahmene he looks set to have a long career in music as it's rumoured he's set to sign a deal with Simon Cowell, who is reportedly keen to launch his latest discovery in the US.
