Katie Holmes was said to be making Christmas extra special for her daughter Suri Cruise by spending a whopping $24,000 on a top of the range playhouse, but according to the shop it's not true.
The mother-of-one, who split from actor Tom Cruise earlier this year, was said to have snapped up the lavish playhouse that is actually a mini-mansion, boasting running water, heat and electricity for its kitchen, dining and bedrooms but the purchase has been denied.
"We have not sold this playhouse to Katie Holmes," Stacy Evrard, the owner of Sweet Retreat Kids (that sells the expensive toy), told Celebuzz.
If Katie did decide to buy the present for her six-year-old daughter, who has had a difficult year with the split of her parents and starting school for the first time, it would cost over $20,000. But don't worry, the mini-mansion is worth it - with its cathedral ceilings, intercoms, and lofts!
During his first red carpet appearance earlier this month following the split from Katie, Tom Cruise revealed that he would be spending the holidays with all of his children - 20-year-old Isabella, 17-year-old Connor and six-year-old Suri.
"We have got lots of very special things planned," he said.
