It appears that Kathy Griffin saw 2012 out the only way she knew how, by caused a tad bit of controversy and a lot of laughs after she tried to kiss CNN host Anderson Cooper's private parts during their New Year's Eve broadcast in New York.
With the backdrop of Times Square and the iconic New Year ball, Anderson could be seen telling Kathy about the ideas that had been coming in from Twitter users, one of them being a drinking game for Anderson every time Kathy made him laugh.
Taking on board the idea offered by the Twitter user, Kathy proceeded to tell Anderson: "I'm going to tickle your sack. You can say sack [on air.] That's not bad.”
Having not expected Kathy's actions, Anderson quickly said: "I don't know what you're talking about. I have no sack of gifts here. A sack of Christmas presents. I did not bring a sack of Christmas presents."
As Anderson composed himself, he introduced a CNN correspondent who was in Maine reporting on the tradition of a eight foot sardine being dropped from a building, after which people kiss for good luck. However, when the corespondent in Maine reported back to Anderson, Kathy could be seen bending down and attempting to kiss Anderson's private parts!
Questioning Kathy's place, Anderson asked: "Did you drop something?", to which Kathy replied: "No, I was kissing your sardine."
Take a look!
