Carey Mulligan showed off her style credentials at another screening for her anticipated film The Great Gastsby last night, donning a monochrome tux for the NYC event.
The 27-year-old chose a chic Lanvin tuxedo for the pre-Met Ball screening of her film at New York's MOMA last night. Teamed with towering Brian Atwood shoes and a splash of Tiffany & Co jewels, the actress stood out amongst the designer gowns and girly dresses.

It's not the first time Carey has gone for the androgynous look. Last month the actress chose a Victoria Beckham tuxedo for the Tiffany Blue Book Ball in the city, with the designer soon tweeting her praise over the star's choice.
A little OTT? Katy Perry goes for clashing prints at the Gatsby screening (Blayze/Splash)
Also in attendance last night was Katy Perry who chose an altogether more colourful look. Spotted leaving the screening, the singer had an elaborate floral garland in her hair teamed with a printed jacket and billowing skirt, finished off with some little lace shoes.

Gatsby director Baz Luhrmann was also in the city for the special screening whilst Baz's fellow Aussie Kylie Minogue showed off her quirky style alongside Carey and Katy.
Following Carey's lead, the pop queen had also shunned a dress in favour of trousers, choosing a garish floral printed silk top and trousers combo. Sorry Kylie and Katy we reckon Carey has won this style battle!
The Great Gatsby opens in UK cinemas on May 15.
