We've heard a lot about the budding romance between Essex lad Mark Wright and Volleyball player Chelsea Rashoff, and tonight we saw the start of how the new couple came to meet in iTV2's new show, Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights.
The documentary, which is filmed in the docu-soap style TOWIE fans will be familiar with, sees Mark and four of his mates heading off on a holiday of a lifetime in Los Angeles. In for the ride are Mark's business manager Neil Dobias, A.K.A “Mr 80's,” minder Nick Wilson, A.K.A “Mr Expert,” cousin and driver Georgie Wright, A.K.A “Mr Wheels,” and cousin Tommy Smith, A.K.A “Mr Mummy's Boy.”
The boys are lumbered with a battered up Ford Mondeo to get around in, but after a bit of a tight squeeze the lads managed to fit themselves, and most of their luggage, in the car with them.
Unfortunately, the car doesn't do much to help with the ladies. One of the girls Mark meets, Hayley, said as they were driving away: “They're so cute. They need to get rid of that car immediately.” Hayley drives a rather more stylish yellow Beetle, which Mark refers to as looking like a banana.
While Mark is off house hunting with Hayley, his four friends decide to go for breakfast, where they meet Volleyball player Chelsea and her personal trainer friend. The two girls convince Georgie to try chicken wings and waffles for breakfast. The verdict? Disgusting, apparently.
It turns out that it was actually Mummy's boy Tommy that scored Chelsea's number. Little does he know that Mark and Chelsea are about to hit it off big time.
Looks like we'll have to wait until the next episode for the first meeting though. Plus, the boys get waxed in some intimate areas, and bare all in a game of beach volleyball.
We can't wait!
