Saved By The Bell: Where Are They Now?

We take a look at what the original cast have been up to since leaving the show

“When I wake up in the morning and the alarm gives out a warning, I don't think I ever make it on time... By the time I grab my books and I give myself a look I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by …Oh memories!

One of our favourite TV shows growing up was definitely Saved By The Bell – it had everything, super cool Zack Morris (Mark Paul Gosselar) who ran the school and always managed to get himself into (and out of) the craziest situations. A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez), the slightly sexist jock who challenged Zack for the most popular girl in school, Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen), before moving on to Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley) – a girl who stood up for herself and the things that she believed in. Then there was shopaholic Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies), who was constantly pursued by the school geek, Screech Powers (Dustin Diamond).

We decided to do a little research and find out exactly what the gang have been up to in real life since leaving the original Saved By The Bell show way back in 1993. Some of the cast took roles in spin-off Saved By The Bell: The College Years, and don't even get us started on Saved By The Bell: The New Class.

Some of the cast continued acting on TV or in movies, while others took part in reality shows or hosted TV segments.

In 2010 the cast of Saved By The Bell reunited for a People Magazine interview – take a look at a video that Mario Lopez took behind the scenes, for Extra. Notably absent is Dustin Diamond, who played Screech in the original series, after reportedly falling out with the rest of the cast.
