Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's faces bared the strain of the last few weeks of their endless promotional duties as they both looked downbeat while making their way through LAX airport in Los Angeles.
The rumoured couple have put on a show of unity in recent weeks as they promoted the last installment of the vampire series 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2'.
The pair were snapped looking incredibly casual as they were escorted out of the airport by security staff.
Barely cracking a smile and showing little interaction, a make-up free Kristen trailed behind a stoney-faced looking Rob under the glare of the press and public.
Despite the pair's downcast appearance, it appears that their newly reconciled relationship is going from strength to strength as Kristen spent Thanksgiving, allegedly with Rob's family, in the UK last week.
It was previously reported that the British star's sisters, Lizzy and Victoria, were finding it difficult to forgive the 'Snow White And The Huntsman' actress for her affair with married director Rupert Sanders.
However, it seems the 26-year-old's siblings had a change of heart and reached out to the 22-year-old by inviting her to spend the American holiday with the whole family.
"It was really important for Kristen to win back the love and trust of Rob's family, and she has done just that," an insider told The Dail Mail.
Adding: "They are all back on really good terms - even better than before. Kristen reached out to Rob's sisters and expressed how sorry she was."
Is the strain finally getting to the pair?
